How to Make Potato and Chorizo Pizza Breads?


Serve: 8


  • 6 medium potatoes, thinly sliced

  • 8 wholemeal tortillas

  • 12 tablespoons creme fraiche

  • 16 thin slices chorizo from a pack, diced

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 50g / 1 3/4 oz mature Cheddar, grated

  • 6 tomatoes, roughly chopped

  • 4 teaspoon balsamic dressing

  • 50g / 1 3/4 oz bag rocket leaves

  • salt and black pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 200C / 400F.

  2. Place the potato slices in a pan of boiling water and blanch for 2 1/2 minutes. Drain and tip on to a piece of clean cloth to dry.

  3. Place the tortillas on to the baking sheets. Add the salt to the creme fraiche to taste. Spread the creme fraiche over the tortillas.

  4. Layer the potato slices over the tortillas, chorizo and onion. Scatter the grated cheese over. Place the baking sheet in the oven to bake for 7 minutes until golden.

  5. In a mixing bowl, place the tomatoes, add in the dressing and mix together. Add in 1 teaspoon black pepper and toss through the rocket.

  6. Spoon one-eighth of the salad over each tortilla and serve.
