  • 480 ml water
  • 3 ml ground ginger

Boil the water and spices in a saucepan. Then simmer for 3 minutes and allow to steep for 5 minutes. Strain the liquid. Add the honey and lemon juice according to your preference. 

Turmeric Side Effects

Turmeric usually does not cause any adverse reaction, but some people may have diarrhea or nausea after consuming it. Taking turmeric in high dosage is not safe for pregnant women. The spice can make gallbladder ailments worse. It is not suitable for the use before and after surgery as it slows blood clotting.
