How to Make Walnut and
Green Bean Salad?
2 lb beans
2 finely chopped small onions
2 garlic cloves
8 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
4 tablespoons chopped walnuts, to garnish
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
4 tablespoons white wine vinegar
2 teaspoon chopped tarragon
salt and pepper
Trim the beans and cook for 5
minutes in salted boiling water. Drain.
Pour some cold water over and
Place the beans, onion, garlic and
cheese in a bowl.
Pour the olive oil, vinegar and
tarragon in a jar with a lid. Season with salt and pepper to
taste. Shake well and pour over the salad.
Toss the salad to coat. Wrap with
plastic wrap and put in the refrigerator for 45 minutes.
Remove from the refrigerator.
Leave the salad for 15 minutes before stirring gently. Transfer
to a serving plate.
Place the walnuts in a skillet and
toast over medium heat for 3 minutes. Garnish over the salad and
