How to Make Stir-Fried
Flat Rice Noodle?
10 oz flat rice noodle
2 teaspoon granulated sugar
4 tablespoons lemon juice
12 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 teaspoons grated ginger
4 chopped garlic cloves
8 trimmed and sliced scallions
4 tablespoons rice wine
14 oz sliced canned water chestnuts
Put the boiling water in a large
bowl. Soak the noodle in the boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain
and rinse with cold water.
Combine the sugar, lemon juice,
soy sauce and cornstarch in a separated bowl and mix well.
Heat the oil in a wok or pan. Add
in the ginger and garlic. Stir-fry for 45 seconds.
Add in the scallions and continue
to stir-fry for 4 minutes.
Add in the soy sauce mixture and
rice wine and cook for 90 seconds.
Add in the noodles, stir in the
water chestnuts and continue to cook for 2 minutes.
Transfer to the serving bowls and
