How to Make Roasted Bell
4 seeded red bell peppers
4 oz fresh green
1 crushed garlic clove
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Use a sharp knife to cut the bell
peppers into thick strips and the chiles into thin strips.
Preheat the oven to 400°F.
In a shallow casserole dish, put
in the peppers, chiles and garlic and add in the oil.
Cover the vegetables and place the
casserole dish into the oven and bake for 1 hour. Make sure the
peppers have softened by then.
Remove the casserole dish from the
oven. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F.
Return the casserole dish to the
oven. Continue to bake the vegetables for further 40 minutes.
Make sure the peppers are soft and about to char.
Ready to serve.
