How to Make Roasted Asparagus?

24 asparagus stalks
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
1 1/2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese, to serve


  • Preheat the oven to 400F.

  • First of all, use a sharp knife to trim the base of the asparagus stalks. This is to make sure that all the stems are approximately the same length.

  • Arrange the asparagus nicely in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt to taste.

  • Put the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 15 minutes, turning once.

  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Transfer the asparagus to a serving dish.

  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan over and serve immediately.
