How to Make Olive Sauce Pasta?

24 oz pasta shapes
12 tablespoons olive oil
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup black olive
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
4 tablespoons tapenade


  • Prepare the boiling salted water in a large pan. Place the pasta in the boiling water and cook until tender but firm.

  • Heat the oil in another saucepan. Add in garlic, pepper, olives, nutmeg and tapenade. Heat over low heat but do not boil. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.

  • Drain the pasta and return to the pan. Add in the olives and flavored oil and heat for 3 minutes.

  • Transfer to serving plates and serve.
