How to Make Olive Sauce
24 oz pasta shapes
12 tablespoons olive oil
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup black olive
1 teaspoon grated nutmeg
4 tablespoons tapenade
Prepare the boiling salted water
in a large pan. Place the pasta in the boiling water and cook
until tender but firm.
Heat the oil in another saucepan.
Add in garlic, pepper, olives, nutmeg and tapenade. Heat over
low heat but do not boil. Cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
Drain the pasta and return to the
pan. Add in the olives and flavored oil and heat for 3 minutes.
