How to Make Goat Cheese Tarts?


Make: 12 tarts



14 oz package prepared and rolled puff pastry
1 1/2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 beaten egg
3 1/2 tablespoons onion relish
three 4 oz sliced goat cheese logs
extra virgin olive oil for drizzling


  • Preheat the oven to 400 degree F.

  • On a lightly floured work surface, cut out 3-inch circles from the pastry.

  • Place the circles on several greased baking sheets.

  • Press a 2-inch dough cutter gently on the circles.

  • Brush the circles with the egg. Make some holes with a fork.

  • Spread some relish and a slice of goat cheese over each circle.

  • Drizzle with the oil and sprinkle some black pepper over.

  • Send to the oven to bake for 10 minutes.

  • Ready to serve.
