Falafel Burger Recipe

How to Make Falafel Burgers?


Serve: 8



four 14 oz can chickpeas
2 small chopped onions
juice and zest of 2 limes
4 teaspoons ground cumin
4 teaspoons ground coriander
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
8 tablespoons olive oil
tomato salsa, to serve


  • Drain the chickpeas. Rinse with cold water. Place the chickpeas, onions, lime juice, lime zest, cumin and coriander in a food processor. Process until well blended.

  • Pour the mixture out on a clean work surface. Divide into 8 equal portions and shape them into 8 patties.

  • Place the flour onto a flat plate. Coat each patty thoroughly with the flour.

  • Heat the oil in a skillet. Add in the coated patties.

  • Allow to cook for 1 1/2 minutes on each side until they become crispy.

  • Spoon over the tomato salsa and serve.
